I pressed the "Exit" button on the remote for my Samsung Flat screen TV and now it won't work!?

Well yeah. I have a Huge flat screen TV labeled with "Samsung" on it, and I accidentally pressed the "Exit" button on the remote, and now the screen is just static. No signal.

There doesn’t seem to be a button that reconnects what I think is the HDVI2/DVI video source.

Help, please?
Okay, I tried the Video Source and Menu buttons.

The video source button only toggles between HDVI2/DVI and PC.

The menu button brings up a little popup box that says "Not available".

Will Blu Ray DVD look just as good on my OLD Samsung Flat Screen 1080i?

I am thinking about buying a Blu Ray Player. I have one of the older model 42 in. Samsung 1080i flat screens- It is probably about 6 or 7 years old- so it is not a THIN flat screen, it’s a big bulky thing. The TV does support HD TV and in fact, the Hi-Def cable channels look pretty damn sharp. Is it worth it to buy a Blu Ray player and would it matter if it was a Samsung, Sony or PS3?

How to get picture on flat screen to fill up whole screen?

I have a Samsung flat screen tv- and the picture does not fill up the whole screen!! I went through the options and there is 2 zooms and 1 full screen option that stretches the screen out making it look bad. Any help is appreciated. Love the tv, but we paid for a large screen, not a shrunk down picture. Thanks!

i have a samsung flat screen…model ln-s2641d, and it was given to me as a gift from my dad. it all of asudden wont turn on. so i’ve checked (and replaced) the fuse (it has a white coating on it so i can’t tell if it’s a bad fuse) and all of the capacitors seem to be in good shape (no oozing or swelling at the top). took off the motherboard and it’s in good shape, no burns or anything. so i’m kinda of stumped beyond my general knowledge of electronics…any advice or suggestions would be great. does this tv sound like it’s done or can i replace some of things on the motherboard without spending a lot of money? because i’ve been reading similar reviews and i’ve learned that some people just say to toss it and some say it can be fixed and some say call the company ect. thanks for reading and for helping!

note: when i replaced the fuse and plugged the tv in and tried to turn it on…i heard a quiet ticking sound near the fuse…so it sounds like it wants to turn on…but something isn’t giving it the boost so to say. hope that helps!

Samsung flat screen not turning on (needs answer fast]?

Hello, my parents purchased a Samsung flat screen (about 36"] a little over 4 months ago. It was a floor model and once a rental. It was purchased from Rent a Center. About 2 1/2 months ago the t.v. started shutting off by itself, but all you had to do to get it back on was plug it out the back in. But just tonight it turned off, I went to go plug it out and plug it back in. It turned on but there was no picture or sound and when I plugged it in it made a ringing noise. My sisters husband took a look at it and said it would need a new bulb because that could be what’s causing the problem, but it costs alot to buy one. My mom ordered a manual for the t.v. a half a month ago but we haven’t got one yet. I just really need an answer to get it back on, like I said it turns on but there’s no picture or sound (just the red little light next to the power button]. and when I press a button the red button flashes off. Please answer and the first person to shall recieve 10 pts. Thanks

My PC is Dell Inspiron 530 and graphics card has an HDMI port. My TV also has a HDMI port. Everyone thinks it is so easy to connect TV, but neither Dell nor Samsung know how to. They say that my graphics card does not support resolution, etc…. I appreciate any type of help

I have been looking at flat screen tvs and have decided to get a Samsung. I don’t know much about pixels and other stuff so I am trying to decide between a Samsung 40” Class 60Hz 1080p LCD HDTV, LN40B500 and a Samsung 42” Class 720p 600Hz Plasma HDTV, PN42B400. My question is would it be worth losing 2 inches and gaining 360 pixels? And also, is there a difference between LCD and Plasma?
